Tue, Apr 14, 2015, 11:28 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka. Apr 14, Colombo: Sri Lanka's national carrier, SriLankan Airlines has increased its flight frequency to Chennai by adding a fourth flight from Colombo to the Southern Indian city.
The new service will be operational from Thursday, 16th of April.
The addition of this flight brings the total frequency of flights between Sri Lanka and India to 86 flights per week.
The purpose of re-launching these flights is to increase frequency of the airline, providing passengers with added convenience, the carrier said in a statement.
