Mar 26, Beijing: Sri Lanka' new President Maithripala Sirisena, who is paying a state visit to China and to attend the 2015 Boao Forum for Asia, and Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Thursday pledged to continue the longstanding friendship between the two countries.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan welcomed President Maithripala Sirisena and Mrs. Jayanthi Sirisena Thursday morning at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing before holding bilateral talks.
