Unable to open save in 1.10: "Input string was not in a correct format."

I tried moving my savefile from 1.8 to 1.10, with an identical set of mods, but the save is corrupted in 1.10 and won't open. It will open normally in 1.8 without issue. Underneath the save name it says in orange "Input string was not in a correct format."
