A gem mine in Gilimale, Ratnapura collapsed when an earth embankment give away burying the miners.
The Police Spokesman's Office has said that the incident occurred at around 9:00 a.m. this morning and that the injured miner has been admitted to the Ratnapura Hospital for treatment.
The victims are reportedly between the ages of 30-55.
