Mar 02, Geneva: Sri Lanka reiterating its political will and commitment for democracy and good governance today asked the United Nations and the international community have faith in the new government and support and strengthen it to succeed.
Addressing the high-level segment of the 28th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva Monday, Sri Lanka's Foreign Affairs Minister Mangala Samaraweera said the Sri Lankan government achieved much during its 48 days in office but there are many more hurdles remain.
