Sat, Dec 20, 2014, 11:13 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.Dec 20, Colombo: The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) of Sri Lanka today issued a landslide warning for 4 districts in the country, if prevailing inclement weather conditions continue in the next 24 hours.
The NBRO Saturday morning issued a landslide warning for Matale, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts and requested the people to be watchful on the possibility of landslides, rock falls and cut slope failures.
Sri Lanka has been battered with heavy monsoon rains sometimes exceeding 150 mm of rainfall.
