Ten foreign tourists who had gone to watch elephants in the Wasgamuwa national park in Matale were rescued by the officials attached to the Disaster Management Ministry on Thursday.
Disaster Management Ministry, Deputy Director Pradeep Kodippily told The Island yesterday that though some parts of the Matale were in danger of possible earth-slips, so far no landslide tragedy had been reported.
