Wed, Nov 19, 2014, 11:55 am SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka. Nov 19, Colombo: Sri Lanka police Tuesday informed the Matale Magistrate's Court that the skeletons found from a mass grave discovered at Matale in central Sri Lanka belong to early 1950s.
The police submitted a report prepared by a US agency after testing the skeleton specimens to Matale Magistrate Sampath Gamage.
Specimens of the skeletal remains unearthed from the Matale mass grave have been sent to Beta Analytic in Miami, Florida for radiocarbon dating to determine the time period.
