Mon, Nov 3, 2014, 10:25 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.Nov 03, Colombo: Sri Lanka Minister of Disaster Management Mahindananda Aluthgamage said that 7575 people living at unsecured places in the Badulla district have been resettled in safe areas due to inclement weather.
They include the 1755 villagers displaced in Koslanda area where a massive landslide took place last week.
The displaced are housed in temporary welfare centers and their needs are looked after by the government, the Minister stated.
